Our Story

Building a Better Tomorrow

Established in May 2025, Malliyam Charitable Foundation works towards the welfare of rural communities. Initiated with the renovation of ancient temples, we have expanded into health camps, youth training, women empowerment, and environmental programs.

Our foundation believes that true development begins at the grassroots level. By working closely with the people of villages, we ensure that every program we run is driven by the community's actual needs and aspirations.

Shri Ramasamy Mohanram

Founder & Chairman

A mechanical engineer and an advocate; born and raised in Malliyam, he developed a deep emotional connection with the villages and its people. With a vision to give back to society, he established this foundation to serve, uplift, and empower the community he calls home.

01 Founder & Chairman

Shri. Ramasamy Mohanram

A Mechanical Engineer cum Advocate born and raised in Malliyam, he was attached with the Ministry of Interiors in Doha, Qatar for more than a decade. He then came to South India and was running multiple businesses. His deep emotional connection with the village and its people inspired him to establish Malliyam Charitable Foundation — driven by a vision to give back to the society he calls home.

Smt. Jayalakshmi M

Served as an English News Presenter in Jaya TV for more than a decade. Also, managing operational roles with reputed hospitals. Her communication expertise and administrative acumen strengthen the foundation's financial and operational management.

03 Secretary

Dr. S. Vaithiyanathan

A Registered Medical Practitioner for Generations. His medical knowledge and community healthcare experience are invaluable in guiding the foundation's health camps, awareness programs, and rural medical outreach initiatives.

04 Vice Chairman

Shri. S. Balakrishnan

A continuing generations-old Custodian of Malliyam Anjaneyar Temple, he brings deep-rooted cultural knowledge and community trust to the foundation. His leadership ensures our temple renovation and spiritual programs remain authentic and community-led.

Smt. S. Jayalakshmi

A dedicated trustee who actively supports the foundation's programs on the ground, contributing to community outreach, women empowerment initiatives, and the overall welfare activities carried out in and around Malliyam.
